DESCRIPTION:Reclaiming the Jewish Story From Those Who Blame\, Shame\, and Try to Erase Us\nJoin us for Shabbat with author and former White House speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz. Her new book\, As a Jew: Reclaiming Our Story from Those Who Blame\, Shame\, and Try to Erase Us\, is an urgent exploration of how antisemitism has shaped Jewish identity and how Jews can reclaim their tradition. She is also the author of Here All Along: Finding Meaning\, Spirituality\, and a Deeper Connection to Life–in Judaism (After Finally Choosing to Look There). \nNo registration is required for the Shabbat Service at 6:30 pm\, but please register for the dinner that will follow and an opportunity to hear from Sarah about what it means to be Jewish during a time of rising antisemitism and how Jews can live proudly\, boldly\, and joyfully. \nSchedule \n\n6:30-7:15 pm: Shabbat Service.
