Thanksgiving Bag Project
November 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join our annual tradition of providing tikkun olam for our neighbors in need! Help us put together Thanksgiving bags full of food and grocery store gift cards that we will give to several non-profits for distribution (see full list below). We need volunteers to organize our assembly line and help fill the Thanksgiving bags on Sunday and also to assist when organizations come to Temple Sinai to pick up their bags on Monday morning.
Please note: This project is best suited for adults and for children 8+ if volunteering with a parent. Younger children can participate by decorating cards to go in the bags (parents should plan to supervise their children). Please note that the playground will not be open during the program.
You can also participate by donating towards the cost of this program; click here to make a donation.
As part of this project, we are also collecting boxes of mac and cheese – help us reach our goal of collecting 350 boxes! Bring your boxes to the collection bin in the member lounge (by the security desk) between November 1 – 15.
