CIESJ Lunch & Learn: Building Bridges of Understanding Between Israelis & Palestinians Through Healthcare

For the past two years, the Committee for Israel Engagement and Social Justice has made donations to Rozana, an Israeli-Palestinian nonprofit healthcare organization, with contributions from Temple Sinai members. Their leaders will be coming to Temple Sinai for a lunch-and-learn program to discuss their important humanitarian work in an informal setting.
Founded in 2013, Rozana trains Palestinian doctors and nurses in Israeli hospitals to help strengthen the healthcare system in the West Bank and provides essential medical care to underserved communities in the West Bank and Gaza. These services include community clinics in Gaza and the groundbreaking Women4Women program, bringing women’s healthcare to hard-to-reach villages in the West Bank.
