Temple Sinai DayTimers and Committee for Israel Engagement and Social Justice have invited Diplomat Jonathan Greenwald, representing J Street, to address the immediate status in Israel, as well as the historical and broader context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the alternative futures that are conceivable for that conflict in this highly fluid period. There will be time for questions and comments following his presentation.

Jonathan (Jon) Greenwald, a Wilkes-Barre, PA native, has spent half a century in public service, including 30 years as a senior U.S. diplomat and 17 years as Vice President for the International Crisis Group, a prominent non-governmental conflict resolution organization. He has taught diplomacy at Lawrence University, served as the State Department’s nominee on the panel that adjudicated Holocaust-era claims for Austria, and authored Berlin Witness: An American Diplomat’s Chronicle of East German’s Revolution.
